An interactive symposium designed for general, trauma, and plastic surgeons involved in complex abdominal wall reconstruction
The purpose of the educational event is to facilitate discussion on successful solutions for managing robotic complex abdominal wall repair (AWR). Surgeons will gain a better understanding of the proper use of Phasix™ Mesh, Phasix ST™ Mesh and XenMatrix AB™ Mesh. Discussion will include review of preclinical and clinical data, science and technology of products, economics of AWR, and various techniques for repairing a variety of hernias. Surgeons will have the opportunity to see cases performed directly in the operating room.
• Review current literature for hernia repair techniques, materials and patient management strategies
• Gain new insights into advanced robotic surgical techniques for complex abdominal wall repair
• Demonstrate use of BD products in hernia repair
