An interactive symposium designed for general, trauma, and plastic surgeons involved in complex abdominal wall reconstruction, hiatal hernia repair, and laparoscopic ventral hernia repair.
The purpose of the educational event is to facilitate discussion on successful solutions for managing complex abdominal wall repair (CAWR), hiatal hernia repair, laparoscopic ventral hernia repair, and to understand the proper use of Ventralight™ ST Mesh w/ Echo™, Phasix™ Mesh and Phasix ST™ Mesh. Discussion will include review of preclinical and clinical data, science and technology of products, economics of AWR, and various techniques for the reconstruction of the abdominal wall, hiatal and laparoscopic ventral hernia repairs.
From the conference room, surgeons will observe recorded cases. The faculty will moderate and host Q&A throughout the cases to enhance the educational experience. Surgeons will then have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on animal lab under the direct supervision of faculty..
